WASHINGTON (CN) - The Office of Thrift Supervision plans to change the definition of "low income loans" to include low income educational loans made to consumers by banks who receive, or apply to receive, Community Reinvestment Act funding.
This change would allow lenders to include education loans when they show that they are meeting the financial needs of the low income communities they serve. Click the document icon beneath "Loan Modification, Hass Avocados & More" for additional federal regulations.
