SAN FRANCISCO — A federal judge in California declined to grant judgment to a data scraping company that is suing LinkedIn for allegedly blocking its access to information the data firm says is public. Because its negligence resulted in the destruction of some records of its data scraping activity, the data company owes LinkedIn court fees.
