Lincoln Memorial standoff

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Finding news outlets cannot be sued for reporting someone’s opinion, a federal judge dismissed a former Kentucky high school student’s defamation lawsuit against the New York Times and others over their coverage of his viral confrontation with a Native American rights activist at the Lincoln Memorial in 2016.
