Walgreens' "pre-sterilized disposable" plastic baby bottle liner melted in hot water, burning a baby and the mother, they claim in Norfolk, Mass., Superior Court, Dedham.

First Baptist Church of Carlsbad's youth minister Jesse Scott had sex with a girl he was supposed to be counseling, in 1997 and 1998, she claims in San Diego Superior Court, Vista. She says Scott is awaiting trial on charges of molesting her and two other girls.

Roxanne Loew claims a "powered parachute" crashed, dropping her 50 feet and injuring her. She sued Steve Sprague, Chris McCool and Incredible Journeys in Bexar County Court, San Antonio.
