Lender Sues Tyga for Two Slick Rides

PHOENIX (CN) - Hip-hop star Tyga owes $357,250 on a Lamborghini and $91,150 on a repossessed Bentley, a car loan company claims in court.

Choice Motor Credit sued Tyga Music LLC and Michael Ray Nguyen-Stevenson aka Tyga on April 7 in Maricopa County Court.

The lender claims that in June 2013 it financed Stevenson's purchase of a 2013 Lamborghini Aventador, for 84 monthly payments of $11,520.10 (total: $967,688.40). He fell behind, caught up, then fell behind again and "ignored CMC's demands" for payment, the lender says. CMC says he owes it $357,350.77 plus interest.

In March 2015, the lender says, it financed a 2014 Bentley Mulsanne for Tyga, for 73 monthly payments of $5,966.95 (total: $435,587.35). The rapper fell behind and ignored CMC's demand for payment, so it repossessed the Bentley in February, according to the complaint.

"CMC sold the Bentley in order to mitigate its damages, but the sale resulted in a deficiency balance of $91,152.67," plus interest, CMC says. It says the rapper ignored its demand for this too.

It seeks possession of the Lamborghini, plus the unpaid balance on both cars, and costs and fees. It is represented by Jonathan Frutkin in Scottsdale.

Tyga (an acronym for Thank You God Always), 26, has released four albums. The Celebrity Net Worth website, checked Monday morning, estimates his net worth as $2 million.
