LegalZoom Accused Of Deceptive Billing

AUSTIN (CN) - LegalZoom.com, which advertises itself as "the best legal document service on the web" overcharges customers for money it deceptively describes as "government filing fees," a class-action claims in Travis County Court.

LegalZoom is accused of charging $159, plus $325 for a "U.S. government filing fee" for an electronically submitted trademark application, though that fee is only $275.
