Legal ethics

WACO, Texas — In a patent infringement lawsuit brought by Freshub Inc. against Amazon.com, a federal court in Texas ordered four of the plaintiff’s attorneys to complete 30 hours of Continuing Legal Education on legal ethics after they made “baseless allegations of racism and anti-Semitism” while requesting a new trial.

The court found the allegations “not only shocking, but also offensive to this Court.”
