BRIDGEPORT, CONN. (CN) - LawCash, which funds litigation, illegally read more than 10,000 of an executive's personal emails after it fired him, including post-firing attorney-client communications, the fired exec, Scott Sidell, claims in Federal Court.
Sidell claims LawCash knows it was breaking the law, as it is in the litigation business. He also sued Structured Settlement Investments and Plaintiff Funding Holding, which jointly do business as LawCash, and four executives who allegedly directed the email snooping.
