Larry Klayman Sues Hugo Chavez

MIAMI (CN) - Attorney Larry Klayman filed a federal class action accusing Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez "and other Venezuelan Marxist-Leninist government officials" of supporting terrorism.

Klayman says his lead plaintiff worked for Radio Marti and fled the country due to threats and intimidation. He says Ricardo Guanipa was granted political asylum in the United States in 2005.

Klayman is a founder of the right-wing legal group Judicial Watch, but fell out with that group.
