LOS ANGELES (CN) - Larry Flynt has sued two of his nephews to stop them from using his name to sell pornographic videos. Flynt says that Jimmy Flynt II and Dustin Flynt used his trademarked to sell videos such as "Xtreme Jugs" and "Sex at Your Service."
The name "Flynt" appears prominently on the cover of at least seven titles the nephews released through their Web site, FlyntDistribution.com, Larry Flynt claims in Federal Court.
Flynt also objects that the defendants produced the movies with Flynt Media Corp., which bears a strikingly similar name to Larry Flynt Publications, Larry Flynt's privately held company.
The creator of "Hustler" magazine says his nephews are trying to capitalize on his reputation by implying that Flynt made the movies. The defendants are not entitled to that commercial use because they are not famous in their own right, the lawsuit states.
Flynt wants a restraining order stopping and damages.
He is represented by Mark Hoffman with Labowe Labowe.
