NEW ORLEANS — A federal court in New Orleans partially granted a landfill’s motion to exclude a hired expert’s testimony in this consolidated environmental negligence suit brought by several hundred residents who live nearby. The doctor must limit her testimony to the relevant time period and to matters within her expertise as one who studies negative odors and their harmful effects, but she cannot testify to the cause of the residents’ injuries.
