Lame Duck Laws

CHICAGO — The Democratic Party of Wisconsin lacked standing to bring its challenge against lame-duck laws passed by the state’s GOP-controlled legislature in 2018 that limited the powers of Democratic Governor Tony Evers and Attorney General Josh Kaul, the Seventh Circuit ruled.
