Lack of Standing

A trial court correctly dismissed a lawsuit against Wyoming lawmakers over no-bid contracts for lack of standing, since the plaintiffs did not bring their case as taxpayers and have no personal interest in the matter, the Wyoming Supreme Court <strong><a href="https://services.courts.state.wy.us/Documents/Opinions/2018WY8.pdf">ruled</a></strong> Tuesday.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – A trial court correctly dismissed a lawsuit against Wyoming lawmakers over no-bid contracts for lack of standing, since the plaintiffs did not bring their case as taxpayers and have no personal interest in the matter, the Wyoming Supreme Court ruled Tuesday.
