Mental health counselor David Cockson "verbally abused and bullied" a female patient into caring for his elderly mother for free, claiming it "was a kind of therapy to her," the patient claims in York County Court. She is also suing the Lanning Center for Behavioral Services, Redman Home Builders and Travelers Insurance Co.
Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Balasuriya Brothers dba GM Video dba ABC Video in Houston Federal Court; Sacramento County in Sacramento Federal Court; Window Enterprises in Dallas Federal Court; Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services in El Paso Federal Court; California State University and East Bay Foundation in Alameda County Court; and Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., Detail Dynamics and Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Restaurants in Orlando Federal Court.
