L.A. County May Enforce Spaying Ordinance

SAN FRANCISCO (CN) - A federal judge has dismissed the American Canine Foundation's constitutional challenge of Los Angeles County's law that requires dogs to be spayed or neutered and microchipped when they become 4 months old. The law allows only rare exceptions, which include police dogs, show dogs and service dogs. See ruling.
