NEW ORLEANS — An appeals court in Louisiana upheld a finding in favor of a couple that adopted a kitten and had planned to declaw the animal, and were sued for breach of the adoption agreement by the cat’s first owner. The couple did not agree to any terms and conditions of the adoption aside from the purchase price, and besides have told the owner that they will no longer pursue the declawing procedure.
