Kidnapped in Yemen

WASHINGTON – A federal court ruled that family members of two U.S. citizens kidnapped – and one killed – by the Houthi militant group in Yemen have established that Iran provided support to the group. The plaintiffs are entitled to monetary relief from Iran, because their evidence proved that, without Iran’s backing, the Houthis would not have attempted to kidnap an American and would not have been able to do so.
