NASHVILLE (CN) — Kid Rock's personal assistant was killed in an overnight ATV accident in Middle Tennessee, Nashville law enforcement officials said Tuesday.
Michael Sacha, 30, was found dead Tuesday morning on an embankment of a long driveway at 3631 Knight Dr. in Whites Creek, Tenn.
According to police, the property is owned by Robert Ritchie, better known by his stage name Kid Rock.
Sacha reportedly worked for the singer as a personal assistant.
Detectives learned that he drove two people who attended a cookout down the driveway to meet an Uber driver around midnight. He apparently lost control and crashed while riding an ATV back toward the house, according to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department.
Kid Rock began looking for Sacha late Tuesday morning when he couldn't find him in the house, police say. The singer and a friend reportedly found Sacha on the embankment and immediately called for help.
