Copyright infringement action, unfair competition. Penders is an accomplished creator, writer, designer and artist who has substantially contributed to, among other works, Sega's "Sonic the Hedgehog" franchise. Defendants have infringed upon plaintiff's exclusive rights by creating, publishing, distributing and selling a video game titled "Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood."
