Kaiser Foundation Health Plan fired a Ghanaian woman for allegedly soliciting employees to marry immigrants in exchange for money, Sonia Amo-Akonnor claims in Federal Court in Washington, D.C. She says the company is unable to substantiate the claim.

Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: TCS Foreclosures, Trinity Consulting Services and Juniper Networks in Orange County Superior Court; Builder Services Group dba Gale Interior Solutions in Ft. Myers Federal Court; Mabie Marketing Group in San Diego Superior Court; Padilla's Company in Los Angeles Superior Court; Paradise Cemetery South, Warford-Walker Mortuary, Wilson-Lincoln Cemtery, NFG-NAT Clark, WFG-Cristo Rey Funeral Home, Wilson Holdings, WFG-Lockwood Funeral Homes, Boyd Smith and White Mortuary, Carl Barnes Funeral Home, Carver Memorial Park, Cedar Crest Funeral Home, Fuller-Sheffield Funeral Services, Lincoln Funeral Home, Mainland Funeral Home and Morris-Bates Funeral Home in Houston Federal Court; Complete Personnel Logistics in San Francisco Superior Court.
