SAN FRANCISCO — A federal court in California granted final approval to a settlement under which Juul will pay up to $2.2 million, modify its policies, and notify former employees that they have the right to engage in whistleblowing, and speak about wages and working conditions. The nearly $1 million penalty attributable to current employees will be suspended if the company substantially complies with the terms.
