Justices Weigh In On Procedures, Sentencing

WASHINGTON (CN) - In other Supreme Court rulings issued today, the justices ruled 8-1 that attorneys can allow a magistrate judge to preside over jury selection in a felony trial. In U.S. v. Rodriguez, the high court rejected a shorter sentence for a repeat criminal in Washington state.
