The Ninth Circuit upheld the dismissal of two individuals’ suit alleging that a California state judicial ethics canon violates their First and 14th Amendment rights. The plaintiffs, who challenged a religious exception to the bar to judicial membership in organizations practicing “invidious discrimination,” failed to establish an “injury-in-fact.”
