SAN FRANCISCO (CN) - U.S. District Judge Susan Ilston ordered the Office of the Director of National Intelligence to release records requested by the Electronic Frontier Foundation, which seeks records detailing ODNI's communications with Congress and with telecommunications companies regarding the Protect America Act of 2007, which President Bush signed into law on Aug. 5. Defendant said it located 250 unclassified pages and 65 classified pages in response to the FOIA request, but has not released them. See opinion and order.
