Judge OKs Missouri Executions

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (CN) - A federal judge ruled that Missouri's method of executing prisoners is constitutional. Two years ago, U.S. District Judge Fernando Gaitan issued a moratorium on state executions, citing concerns with the state's method of administering lethal injection. Gaitan lifted the moratorium, ruling that Missouri has revised its procedures and that its execution method is now constitutional.
