(CN) — A **ruling ** by the Montana Supreme Court on Valentine’s Day says the state need not cover the $744,371 settlement that First Judicial District Judge George Huss agreed to pay a court reporter suing him for sexual harassment, because Huss reached the settlement without the state’s consent.
