Judge faces discrimination claim

JACKSON, Miss. — A federal court in Mississippi denied a county court judge’s motion to dismiss claims of race discrimination brought by a terminated white administrator, who says the Black woman who replaced her had less experience yet received higher pay. Her claims against the county and its board of supervisors are dismissed, however.
