Judge DQ’d

SAIPAN, Northern Mariana Islands — The Supreme Court of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands disqualified a superior court judge from presiding over a sexual assault case where both the accused and the victim are employees of the court. The judge’s impartiality would be questioned given how directly the employees worked with the court and the judge.
