MANHATTAN (CN) - A federal judge has dismissed Johnson & Johnson's complaint that The American National Red Cross broke federal law that prohibits abuse of the red cross sign by licensing four companies to make and sell products bearing the Red Cross name and emblem.
The Red Cross licensed the name and symbol to Learning Curve International, Magia Products, Water-Jel Technologies, and First Aid Only.
Johnson & Johnson alleged eight counts, including tortious interference with prospective economic advantage, tortious interference with contract, unfair competition, breach of contract and dilution of trademark.
