Judge Awards Fees In Stock Class Action

MANHATTAN (CN) - U.S. District Judge John Keenan has awarded $2.5 million in attorney's fees and expensesand approved settlement of a consolidated class-action complaint that accused Merrill Lynch of issuing fraudulent research reports touting Internet-based companies, on which investors lost money, from 1999 to 2002.
