Jailed 2 years without cause?

CHICAGO — An Illinois federal court allowed portions of a man’s unlawful detention claims against county officials after detectives and prosecutors allegedly pursued him for a 2020 murder without reliable evidence, resulting in two years of jail time without probable cause and based on perjured grand jury testimony. His false arrest claims are time-barred and many of the defendants enjoy prosecutorial immunity from his complaint.
