Jail ICE Policy

A federal court in Minnesota ruled that Anoka County’s unwritten policy that requires jail employees to contact Immigration and Customs Enforcement any time a foreign-born individual is brought to the jail — “irrespective of citizenship or immigration status" — violates the 14th Amendment right to equal protection.
