Lead by anti-mafia prosecutor Nicola Gratteri, the maxi-trial Rinascita-Scott starts on January 13th 2021 in new bunker room inside the industrial area (Area Ex Sir) of Lamezia Terme (Calabria, Italy). With 355 defendants standing accused of mafia association with Calabrese organised crime (‘Ndrangheta), the trial is considered one of biggest after the one against Sicilian mafia, three decades ago, and targets one family, with its national and international networks, as politicians and public workers.
