LOS ANGELES (CN) - Won Charlie Yi promised to invest $6.3 million through his "investment advisory firms" Diamond Investment and C+ Capital, but just stuck the money into his own bank accounts and fabricated monthly statements, and when the investors called him on it he fled to Seoul, according to a Superior Court complaint.
Plaintiffs Unlimited Adjusting Group Inc., Park & Goodpeople Inc., Chong Cha Choe and Dae Chul Cho as trustees of Park & Goodpeople Inc., and Deferred Compensation Trust #1 are represented by Paul Yee with Kaplan Yee of Huntington Beach.
