WASHINGTON — A federal judge dismissed Indonesians’ claims that ExxonMobil’s security forces carried out extrajudicial killings, torture and arbitrary detentions, as international law has not extended the scope of liability to corporations. Claims of wrongful death, battery and assault meanwhile shall continue, governed by Indonesian law.
