Interior Wants Oil Rigs|to Address Human Error

WASHINGTON (CN) - Operators of oil, gas and sulphur rigs in the Outer Continental Shelf will have to address human error in their safety and environmental rules, under newly proposed Interior Department regulations.

The Interior Department's Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement proposed the rules, and says it believes the requirements will further reduce the likelihood of accidents, injuries, and spills.
