Insurer Doesn’t Appreciate Irony

BROOKLYN (CN) - In our Ironic Complaint of the Day, The Charter Oak Fire Insurance Co. claims Broan Nutone's defective product, the "Broan exhaust fan," which is supposed to help prevent fire, started a fire at co-plaintiff Lurene Simmons' property. The insurer claims Broan failed to test the product before selling and distributing it, in Federal Court.
