WASHINGTON (CN) - Three agencies have implemented a Congressional act that requires parity between substance use disorder insurance benefits and medical/surgical benefits in financial requirements and treatment limitations under group health plans.
These regulations generally become applicable to plans and issuers for plan years beginning on or after July 1, 2010.
