SAN DIEGO - Michael J. Fefferman, a tech director at (nonparty) Ardea Biosciences, tipped a broker to inside information in a $530,000 inside-trading scheme, the SEC claims in Federal Court; click headline for defendants.
The SEC sued Fefferman; his brother-in-law Chad E. Wiegand, who is the registered broker-dealer he allegedly tipped; and Akis Eracleous, another registered rep at Wiegand's firm, who allegedly tipped his cousin, a relief defendant.
