Indiana Must Arbitrate Tobacco Settlement Claim

INDIANAPOLIS (CN) - The Indiana Appeals Court upheld a decision forcing Indiana to arbitrate its challenge to the final payout calculations made by the auditor of a master settlement agreement between tobacco manufacturers and several states. The court said the dispute clearly falls under the arbitration clause of the master settlement agreement.
