Immunity & the Holy See

MANHATTAN — The Second Circuit affirmed that a New York federal court does not have jurisdiction, under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act, to hear claims against the Holy See for child sex abuse cases involving the Catholic Church in the U.S. under a theory of vicarious liability.
