Immigrants Say Dental Labs Cheated Them

CHICAGO (CN) - Wand Dental Lab and Central Dental Lab defrauded Koreans by advertising for workers in South Korea, then claiming the workers had to deposit $115,000 in a U.S. bank in which the alleged crooks would be co-signators, two alleged victims say in Federal Court.

The plaintiffs say they deposited the money and defendants Jin Young Park and Hyun Houng Kim swiped it.

They claim the defendants promised to hire them legally in the USA, but did not hire them legally, and cheated them of overtime too.

Wand Dental is based in Westchester, Ill., Central Dental in Oak Brook Terrace. Park and Kim own them, the complaint states.

Plaintiffs are represented by Amy Elizabeth Paluch Epton of Des Plaines.
