A federal court in California denied a request to establish a dispute resolution process for medically vulnerable detainees who remain in Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody at the Otay Mesa Detention Center. The facility has resumed accepting new immigrant detainees, including some who have tested positive for Covid-19, but the warden says the new detainees are quarantined and do not interact with the medically vulnerable individuals.
