CHICAGO (CN) - Illinois sued Patrick Gleason and Homes for Heroes, claiming Gleason claims to be raffling off a house to "honor the brave men in women in uniform [sic] fighting the Global War on Terror," but Gleason has filed for bankruptcy, and claims in that petition that he hopes to raise $600,000 by raffling off the same house - his - to pay his debts.
Attorney General Lisa Madigan sued Gleason, of Minooka, Ill., in Cook County Chancery Court.
