CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (CN) - FTW Trucking and Hauling and its executives Joseph Labella and James Fitzpatrickillegally dumped 5,000 tons of hazardous waste on the Long Island Central Pine Barrens, without permits, ruining the land, threatening endangered species, and polluting Long Island's drinking water, a developer alleges in Federal Court.
CRSI Limited Partnership claims in Federal Court. CRSI says it owns the land that FTW polluted. Labella, Fitzpatrick and FTW have been charged criminally in a similar case in Pennsylvania.
