If you can’t kill ’em, sue ’em

BOSTON — The Massachusetts Supreme Court affirmed a judgment in favor of a man who was sued by his ex-wife for breach of contract because he stopped making monthly payments per their separation agreement. He paid until his former wife tried to kill him and their nine-year-old son with a hatchet outside of his dental practice; this attack ended his obligation to pay her.
