Idaho Supreme Court

CONSTITUTION, GOVERNMENT - Taxpayers claimed that a lease agreement between Canyon County, Idaho, and a trust for the property where the county intended to construct a jail violated the constitution. The state Supreme Court found that the taxpayers' complaint is moot because the lease agreement is no longer in effect, since Canyon County bought and sold the property. See ruling.
