Icelander Wants His $500,000 Back

ORLANDO (CN) - Dream Quarters USA cheated a citizen of Iceland of $500,000 by taking the money as an investment, then promptly doling it out to the company's bosses, the Icelandic citizen claims in Orange County Court.

Einar Asgeirsson says Dream Quarters is run by defendants Jeff Anderson, John Stamper and Paavo Salmi.

Asgeirsson claims that when the defendants got his money they sent $195,606 to defendant Travelatro.com, owned by Salmi.

He says Stamper's company, Total Living Concepts, got $104,231, of which Stamper took $50,000 for himself.

And he says Anderson took $207,507.

The whole deal, says Asgerisson, was "smoke and mirrors." He wants his money back and damages for fraud and conspiracy. He is represented by Bruce Blackwell with King, Blackwell, Downs & Zehnder.
