House Seeks To Compel White House Testimony On Firings Of U.S. Attorneys

WASHINGTON (CN) - Here is the federal lawsuit in which the House Judiciary Committee seeks to compel testimony and documents from former White House counsel Harriet Miers and White House chief of staff Joshua Bolten, for its investigation of the firing of nine U.S. attorneys. The Committee said it was forced to file the civil lawsuit because the U.S. Justice Department refused to pursue contempt citations.
