Highland Banc and its loan officer Eric Johnson provided inaccurate mortgage loan disclosure statements, misled customers about payments, fees and taxes, pre-appraised property and made loans knowing they would not likely be repaid, the State of Ohio claims in Franklin County Court. The state sued Magellan Mortgage and Thomas Hefline dba Heflin & Associates in a similar complaint in the same court.
